This was a totally new and totally delightful event nestled in the scenic (and calm!) waters of Sequim Bay hosted by the SBYC.
Here was the 5-mile course…
Endless thanks to fearless leader Don Berger, and the familiar smile of Suzy Narbutorvskih who shepherded us lost sheep from other clubs. Also many thanks to the unfamiliar faces of new friends we met at the event.

Don writes: Many hours were spent putting this together by Bob Macaulay and Jean Heessels-Petit, as well as many other SBYC members both rowers and non-rowers who volunteered. We could not have pulled this off without the help from Bob and Sally Giesler.
Thank you also to our photographers. For all race photos by Jim Costello, by Gail Spurr, and by SBYC , click on each of those names.
Congratulations to all who crossed the finish line first – but in effect, we all were winners, breaking ground for more fun Sequim Bay races to come.
